ENDICOTT - Candor's Lindsey Morse capped off a fantastic two days at the Section IV Track And Field State Qualifiers by punching her ticket to the NYSPHSAA State Championships in the 100-meter hurdles.

Morse advanced to this evening's final in the 100-meter hurdles after running a 15.96 in yesterday's prelim.

In today's final, Morse set a school record with a time of 15.88 to place third overall and first in Class C. This qualifies Morse for the State Championships next week in Middletown.

"Lindsey ran a strong, fierce race. She put it all out there," said Candor coach, Kim White.

"Lindsey's main goal was to break the school record. She was very pleased to find out she also qualified for the state meet."
