While some athletes punched their ticket to the NYSPHSAA Track & Field State Championships yesterday, others look for an opportunity to advance today in day two of the Section IV State Qualifier Meet at Union-Endicott High School.

On day two of the Section IV Track and Field State Qualifier Meet, Spencer-Van Etten's Karson Kenville competes in the finals of the 110 hurdles, while Candor's Lindsey Morse will do the same on the girls' side for the 100-meter hurdles. Owego's Stella Palladino advanced to today's 100 and 200-meter dash finals, and Newark Valley's Zion King continues his efforts in the pentathlon event.

Day two will also see Tioga County athletes compete in the Steeplechase events as well as multiple relay races and field events.
