TRACK & FIELD STATE QUALIFIERS: HEATH AND CHRYSLER QUALIFY, PALLADINO ADVANCES TO DAY TWO (2025-06-04)

ENDICOTT- Owego track and field is off to a hot start at the Section IV State Qualifiers, with Gavin Heath and Jaelyn Chrysler punching their tickets to the State Championships, while Stella Palladino did what she needed in her heats to advanced to day two in the 100 and 200-meter dash.

Heath finished first for Class B in the 800m and was fifth overall, running 1:57.95 to qualify for the State Championships. 

Chrysler also finished first in Class B for the girls' 3000m, clocking 11:12.49 to qualify for the state meet.

Palladino captured victory in both of her heats for the 100 and 200-meter dash, advancing to day two, tomorrow for the finals in each event.

OFA's Brady Senko placed ninth in the 110 hurdles with 16.91 and Javan Belokur came in 18th for the 3200m, running 10:59.18. Abby McHugh earned seventh in the 3000-meters with a time of 11:52.55.

Owego will be back on the track tomorrow for day two of the Section IV State Qualifiers at Union-Endicott High School.
