CANDOR - The Candor Girls' golf team picked up another win on Friday at Catatonk Golf Club, defeating Vestal with a 232-team total.

Vestal's Allison Yoon shot a 41 for medalist honors, but with only three golfers competing, Vestal's team score was incomplete.

For Candor, Gwen Shaw paced her team with a 54. Kaedyn Everhart carded a 58 and Jillian Teribury finished with a 59. Lydia Kunte earned a 61 on the day for the Coyotes.

In non-scoring rounds, Candor's Emma Fey shot a 63, while Emma Steller scored a 74.

"I am proud of Jillian Teribury and Emma Steller for having the courage to play in their first competitive match," said coach Jason Banks.

"In addition, Gwen has really started to stand out as a leader on the team. That is nice to see as we get closer to the postseason," added Banks.

Candor faces Dryden next on May 7th.
