BERKSHIRE - Bradyn Woods took home medalist honors on Friday for Newark Valley, but the Cardinals lost a close match with Moravia, 207-212.

Woods carded a 42 for the Cardinals. Troy Blomberg shot a 52, while Oliver Ferguson and Isaiah Keith shot a pair of 59's for Newark Valley.

Riley Jones broke 50 for Moravia, carding a 48. Matt Dann shot 50 and Jeff Gettell finished with a 52. Zach Szauatch scored a 57 to round out Moravia's team score.

Newark Valley is on the links again Tuesday to host Notre Dame.
