BERKSHIRE - The Cardinals' golf team bounced back on Thursday afternoon to win their home opener over Whitney Point, 210-245, with Brady Woods and Isaiah Keith tying for medalist honors on the day.

Woods and Keith both carded 51's in the Newark Valley victory. 

Aaron Smith and Dylan Iverson each shot a 54, while Oliver Ferguson carded a 65 for a non-scoring round. Troy Blomberg shot a 67 for a non-scoring round as well.

Whitney Point's Dylan Wood shot a 57. Peyton Fish and Christopher Conroy both carded a pair of 60's, while Jacob McGrath shot a 68.

Newark Valley will hit the links again on April 29th at Lansing.
