WAVERLY - S-VE boys's golf fell to Southern Cayuga, 193-237, earlier on a sunny and windy afternoon, with the highlight of the match taking place when the Chiefs' Daniel Johnson carded a hole-in-one.

The hole-in-one happened on the par three, 100-yard seventh hole at Shepard Hills. Johnson was the medalist for the day, also carding a four on the par five ninth hole for a low score of 43.

For the Panthers, Jayden Stone shot a 55, while Owen Bly finished with a 59. SVE's Donavin Vanderpoel carded a 60 on the day, and Noah Ingram shot a 63.

Southern Cayuga's Landon Hauptfleish scored a 47. Logan Nasholts carded a 49 and James Denman shot a 54.

S-VE falls drops to 0-2 on the season, but will take the course again on Friday to face Tioga.
