DRYDEN - SVEC baseball kept things rolling on Monday, traveling to Dryden and earning their fifth straight win of the season, 16-4 over the Lions.
Dryden came out of the first inning with a 2-1 lead, but the Eagles were able to overcome multiple walks and regain a lead that they would not give up.
Kellen Williamson took the mound in relief of Cam Sinn and went three innings, striking out seven without surrendering a run.
The Eagles' big inning came in the second when they plated nine runs. Dryden tacked on two of their own in the home half of the inning, but SVEC came back two innings later with five runs in the fourth and one run in the fifth to seal the deal.
Logan Aman was 4-for-5 at the plate with three RBIs. Williamson had five RBIs on the day, while Sinn and Deveon Aman chipped in two hits each.
Sirron Irvin had two hits to go with two RBIs. Nicholas Oaks, Wyatt Ross and Jason Jantz all tallied an RBI as well.
"Kellen Williamson came in relief and was able to just fill the zone with strikes. The bats and solid defense carried us the rest of the way," said co-coach Chris Teribury.
The Eagles host Trumansburg next on Wednesday.
