SVEC's Deveon Aman looked fantastic on the mound, and Owego's Olivia Dodge was stellar on both sides of the ball in a pair of flag football wins. They are the Tioga County Sports Report / Guthrie Community Credit Union "Athletes of the Week," for the week ending April 5.

Aman has been a big contributor to the Eagles hot start this season. In an upset win over Lansing, Aman threw the bulk of a combined no-hitter and also scored a run. Aman drove in a run and scored as well, during the Eagles victory over Whitney Point the very next day.

Dodge recorded two interceptions last week, returning both for touchdowns during wins against Johnson City and Chenango Forks. The senior also totaled a combined 10 flags pulled during those two games. Dodge hauled in two touchdowns on the offensive side of the ball as well, helping lead OFA flag to an unbeaten start in 2025.
