
SPENCER — Senior Faith Brenchley and junior Lauren Gillette were both named IAC South Small School second-team all-star honors, and sophomore Kaidince Root received honorable mention recognition.

SECOND TEAM
Faith Brenchley, senior, S-VE: An all-around player and leader on the floor, Brenchley averaged 5 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 2.7 steals, and 0.6 blocks per game.
Lauren Gillette, junior, S-VE: A consistent performer, Gillette averaged 8 points, 5 rebounds, 0.9 assists, and 2.5 steals per game. She had one double-double on the season.
Also receiving second-team honors were: Candor sophomore Megan Williamson, Newfield sophomore Egypt Smith-Henderson, and O-M sophomore Brooklynn Thompson.
Honorable Mention
Kaidince Root, sophomore, S-VE: Root had some good performances for the Panthers in her first varsity season. She averaged 4.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists,, and 3.8 steals per game.
Also receiving honorable mention recognition were: Newfield's Emily Taylor, Candor's Nicola Soper, O-M's Vanessa Wood, and Candor's Shawna Conklin.
