STAC BOWLING: OWEGO BOYS PLACE FOURTH AT END-OF-SEASON TOURNAMENT; LADY RIVER HAWKS SIXTH (2025-02-10)
Tioga County Sports ReportVESTAL — The Owego boys, paced by Evan O'Hara, placed fourth in the STAC End-of-Season Tournament, while the Lady River Hawks finishes sixth here Monday at Midway Lanes.
OWEGO BOYS PLACE FOURTHEvan O'Hara led the River Hawks with a 628 series on games of 179, 223, and 226, while Devan Card shot a 604 on games of 246, 161, and 197.
Connor Kotski had a 573 for Owego, including a 212, while Graydon Stanton had a 546, including a 208, Grayson Quick added a 529, and Nate Dwyer tacked on a 436.
U-E won the End-of-Season Tournament with 3,072 pins, while Chenango Valley was second at 3,011, Horseheads was third at 2,907, and Owego tallied 2,870.
OWEGO GIRLS FINISH SIXTHIzzy Coveney led the River Hawks with a 552 series, including a 192, and Elaina Anschutz shot a 502, including games of 198 and 194.
Elizabeth Reigle had a 429, while Izzy Taylor added a 348, and Americus Booker tacked on a 270.
The River Hawks placed sixth in the team standings with a three-game set of 2,101. U-E won the End-of-Season Tournament with 2,546 pins and Waverly was second at 2,434.
Owego returns to action Feb. 21-22 at the Section IV Class Championships.
