IAC GIRLS BASKETBALL: MORAVIA RIDES FAST START TO 46-18 WIN OVER S-VE (2025-02-03)
Tioga County Sports ReportMORAVIA — Moravia opened the game with a 19-1 run, and cruised to a 46-18 win here Monday night in IAC Small School crossover girls basketball action.
Moravia used a 10-2 lead to take a 29-3 lead into the halftime locker room, then outscored S-VE, 11-3, in the third quarter to make it 40-6 heading into the final eight minutes.
Lauren Gillette knocked down a 3-pointer and scored five points in the fourth quarter, and Brianna Predmore added a 3-pointer as S-VE closed the game with a 12-6 run.
Gillette led S-VE five points, three rebounds, and six steals, while Lillyanah Doolittle scored five points, Faith Brenchley grabbed six boards, Kaidince Root added three rebounds, and Kaylee Kastenhuber dished out two assists.
S-VE, now 2-10, returns to action Tuesday at Candor.
