STAC BOWLING: OWEGO TOPS CHENANGO VALLEY, 4-1; LADY RIVER HAWKS SWEPT (2025-02-03)
Tioga County Sports ReportBINGHAMTON — Owego bounced back from a 4-pin loss in the first game, and, behind Evan O'Hara's 700 series, rolled to a 4-1 win here Monday afternoon, while the Lady River Hawks were swept in STAC bowling action.
BOYS
Owego 4, Chenango Valley 1The Warriors won the first game 899-895, but the River Hawks answered with wins of 978-862, and 999-866 for a two-point total-pinfall victory of 2,872 to 2,627.
O'Hara banged out a 719 series on games of 258, 226, and 235, while Connor Kotski shot a 617 on games of 164, 226, and 227.
Grayden Stanton rolled a 551 for Owego, while Grayson Quick had a 528, and Devan Card added a 457.
Nate Adams led CV with a 626 series.
GIRLS
Chenango Valley 5, Owego 0The Warriors won the first game 692-516, and followed it up with wins of 618-528, and 691-615 for a total-pinfall victory of 2,001 to 1,659.
Izzy Coveney led Owego with a 444 series, while Izzy Taylor shot a 400, and Elizabeth Reigle added a 381.
Abby Herceg led CV with a 456 series.
JV Boys
Owego 5, CV 0Nate Dwyer shot a 451 and Cam McGowan added a 437 in Owego's 5-0 win. The Rivers Hawks won by a total-pinfall count of 2,049 to 1,917.
