TIOGA COUNTY — Basketball and bowling dominates the week's schedule until Saturday when the Section IV individual wrestling postseason kicks off with Qualifiers at Oneonta and Unadilla Valley.

There are 28 events on this week's docket, including seven on Wednesday and five on Friday.

The following are all of the home varsity events this week, and a few of the notable road events:

MONDAY (4)
•  S-VE hosts Newark Valley in an IAC boys basketball contest.

•  Newark Valley hosts Groton on the hardwoods at Cardinal Lanes.

TUESDAY (3)
•  The Candor girls host S-VE in a renewal of their IAC basketball rivalry.

•  S-VE hosts Candor in an IAC South Small School boys hoop match-up.

WEDNESDAY (7)
•  The Owego bowlers host Waverly in STAC bowling action, with the boys battling for a division title.

•  Newark Valley hosts Lansing in IAC Large School crossover boys basketball action.

•  Owego hosts Newfield in a non-league boys hoop game.

•  S-VE hosts Union Springs in an IAC crossover girls basketball game.

THURSDAY (4)
•  S-VE hosts Tioga in an IAC South Small School boys basketball match-up.

•  Candor hosts O-M in a key divisional girls basketball match-up.

•  Candor hosts Newark Valley on the hardwoods at the Owego Bowl.

•  Owego hosts Onondaga in a non-league girls basketball contest.

FRIDAY (5)
•  The Newark Valley girls host Notre Dame in a key IAC South Large School basketball tilt.

•  S-VE hosts Newfield in an IAC South Small School boys basketball game.

SATURDAY (4)
•  SVEC and Newark Valley wrestlers are in action at the Section IV Qualifier at Oneonta High School.

•  Owego wrestlers are in action at the Section IV Qualifier at the Unadilla Valley Middle School.
