GIRLS WRESTLING: LOVELL PACES OWEGO'S EFFORTS AT HOMER LADY LEGACY TOURNAMENT (13 PHOTOS) (2025-02-02) Tioga County Sports Report HOMER — Junior Jaelynne Lovell went 2-2 here Saturday, and was the only Owego wrestler to post a win at the Homer Lady Legacy Wrestling Tournament.
Lovell, unseeded in the 126-pound bracket scored a 49-second fall over Homer's Olivia Doshna in the opening round, but dropped a 12-2 technical fall to Oxford-Greene's Mira Gaylord in the second round.
Lovell bounced back in the third round of consolations with a 60-second pin of Camden's Megan Renk, but lost via first-period fall to Walton-Delhi's Penelope Gielskie in the "blood round."
Junior Ashlee Crawford-Bauer (107), 8th-grader Michaela Daly (107), junior Carissa Chandler (126), 8th-grader Mikenna Wilbur (132), and junior Tatum Kowalski (138) all finished 0-2 on the day.
