ELMIRA — Owego earned just three wins on the mat Thursday night in losses to Corning and Elmira in STAC girls wrestling action.

Corning 25, Owego 5
Corning won three of the fourth contested weight classes, and picked up a pair of forfeits in a 25-5 win over Owego.

Tatum Kowalski scored a fall in 3:34 at 138 pounds for the Lady River Hawks' only win in the match.

There were no matches in seven weight classes.

Elmira 49, Owego 10
Both teams won two matches on the mat, but Elmira picked up eight forfeits to post a 49-10 win over Owego.

Jaelynne Lovell scored a 60-second fall at 126 pounds, and Ashlee Crawford-Bauer registered a 30-second fall for the River Hawks' two wins.
