NEW YORK STATE GIRLS SOCCER: NEWARK VALLEY'S FINTA NAMED TO CLASS C THIRD-TEAM ALL-STATE TEAM (2024-12-24)

NEWARK VALLEY — Newark Valley senior Adrianna Finta was recently named to the New York State Class C third-team all-state team, selected by the New York State Sportswriters Association.

Finta was a force at both ends of the field for the Cardinals.

"Adrianna Finta's selection as a third-team all-State defender is a well-deserved award," said Newark Valley coach Chuck Schneider. "Her year-round dedication to honing her skills paid off, resulting in an exceptional and impactful senior season.

"As the anchor of our defense, Adrianna not only excelled in shutting down opponents but also showcased her offensive prowess, scoring 13 goals and contributing five assists.

"With her plans to compete at the next level, there’s no doubt she will continue to excel and achieve great success," added Schneider. "It has been an absolute privilege to coach Adrianna."
