IAC BOWLING: FLOYDS LEAD CANDOR GIRLS, BOYS TO SWEEPS OF EDISON (2024-12-16)
Tioga County Sports ReportOWEGO — Kaitlyn Floyd and Kody Floyd each rolled 600 series to lead the Candor girls and boys to sweeps of Thomas A. Edison here Monday in IAC bowling action at the Owego Bowl.
GIRLS
Candor 4, Edison 0The Coyotes won the first game 803-577, then followed it up with wins of 782-588 and 793-523 for a total-pinfall victory of 2,378 to 1,688.
Kaitlyn Floyd rolled a 601 series on games of 202, 176, and 223, while Kaydee Jackson shot a 484, and Calli Marsh had a 426.
Kristin Baker had a 404 in the win, while Jennarose Reagan and Raina Schneider-Kern each added 391 series.
Aurora Parlo led Edison with a 357 series.
BOYS
Candor 4, Edison 0Candor won the first game 871-725 and followed it up with wins of 829-710 and 818-692 for a total-pinfall victory 2,518 to 2,127.
Floyd banged out a 616 series on games of 168, 226, and 222, while Tyler Dunham rolled a 598, including games of 222 and 202.
Malcolm Jackson shot a 448 for the Coyotes, while Stanley Winch added a 429, and William Dizer chipped in with a 427.
Zack Crown led Edison with a 540 series.
Candor returns to action Thursday against O-M at Harborside Lanes in Watkins Glen.
