STAC BOWLING: KOTSKI'S 700 SERIES LEADS OWEGO BOYS TO SWEEP OF WINDSOR; LADY RIVER HAWKS SWEPT (2024-12-16)
Tioga County Sports ReportKIRKWOOD, N.Y. — Connor Kotski rolled a 700 series, and Evan O'Hara just missed one in leading Owego to a sweep in STAC boys bowling action, while the Owego girls were swept here Monday at Sunset Lanes.
BOYS
Owego 5, Windsor 0Kotski rolled a 700 series on games of 190, 243, and 267, and O'Hara shot a 686 on games of 229, 258, and 199 to lead the River Hawks.
Grayden Stanton shot a 576 series, including a 204 in the first game, for Owego, and Devan Card added a 504, including a 214 in the second game.
Grayson Quick shot games of 163 and 135 in the win, and Chase Romeo added a 187 in the third game.
Owego won the first game 940-843, then followed it up with wins of 1,043-850, and 968-901 for a total-pinfall victory of 2,951 to 2,594.
JV BOYS
Owego 4, Windsor 1Owego won two of three games, and picked up the two-point total-pinfall victory by a count of 1,797 to 1,678.
Cam Farrell led the junior River Hawks with a 412 series, and Cam McGowan added a 393.
GIRLS
Windsor 5, Owego 0The short-handed Owego girls were led by Elizabeth Reigle, who shot a 485 series, including a 205 in the second game.
Elaina Anschutz rolled a 425 for the River Hawks, while Izzy Coveney added a 399, and Izzy Taylor chipped in with a 333.
Windsor topped Owego, which had just four bowlers, by a total-pinfall count of 2,321 to 1,642.
Owego returns to action Wednesday when it hosts Chenango Valley.
