CORTLAND — Juniors Jaelyn Chrysler and Stella Palladino placed in two events to pace Owego's efforts here Saturday at the 607 Indoor Track & Field Invite at SUNY Cortland.

Juniors Sophia Lee and Gavin Heath also had top-five finishes for the River Hawks.

Chrysler placed second in the 1,000-meter run in a time of 3:24.5, and junior Abigail McHugh was fifth in 3:44.79.

Chrysler placed sixth in the 600-meter run in a time of 1:58.9, and McHugh was 23rd in 2:11.81.

JPalladino placed third in the 300-meter dash in a time of 46.92 seconds, and sophomore Cecelia Clair was 17th in 52.46 seconds.

Palladino placed fifth in the 55-meter dash in 7.89 seconds, while Clair was 17th in 8.39 seconds, and junior Sophia Lee was 21st in 8.6 seconds.

Lee placed fifth in the long jump with a leap of 14-feet, 3/4-inch.

Owego placed ninth in the 17-team field.

BOYS
Heath placed third in the 600-meter run in a time of 1:33.35, while junior Jason Belokur was 13th in 1:37.39, and senior Dawson Bell was 24th in 1:32.37.

Senior Bryson Castro finished 12th in the 300-meter dash in a time of 42.08 seconds.

Owego finished 13th in the 19-team field.
