TIOGA COUNTY — The Waverly-Owego boys and girls wrestling duals, and boys basketball dominates Thursday night's docket.

BOYS WRESTLING
Waverly (5-2) at Owego, 6:30 p.m.:
The Wolverines are coming off a 5-2 performance at the Horseheads Mark Stephens Classic, and are ranked ninth in the State, while the River Hawks open their dual season tonight.

SVEC (1-0) at Schuyler, 6:30 p.m.: The Eagles opened the season with a 43-24 win over Whitney Point last week, while the Storm topped Dryden, 72-6.

GIRLS WRESTLING
Waverly (2-0) at Owego, 6:30 p.m.:
The Wolverines are coming off wins over Chenango Forks and SVEC, while the River Hawks will be wrestling their first-ever dual tonight.

BOYS BASKETBALL
Tioga at Candor, 5:30 p.m. JV start:
The Coyotes are coming off a 53-47 win over Notre Dame, while the Tigers dropped a 36-33 decision to Schenevus.

Owego (1-1) at Chenango Forks (1-1), 5:30 p.m. JV start: The River Hawks are coming off a 60-48 loss to Elmira in the championship game of the Charlie Sibley Memorial Tournament, while the Blue Devils dropped a 53-49 decision to Windsor.

O-M (0-1) at S-VE (0-0), 6 p.m. JV start: The Panthers open the 2024-25 season tonight, while the Grizzlies dropped a 52-28 decision to South Seneca Friday in its season-opener.
