CANDOR'S FOSTER NAMED GUTHRIE COMMUNITY CREDIT UNION BOYS "ATHLETE OF THE WEEKFoster averaged 24.5 points, 6.5 assists, and 5 rebounds per game to lead the Coyotes to a pair of wins.
In a 67-39 win over Marathon, Foster poured in 37 points, including two 3-pointers and 10 of 11 performance from the free-throw line, seven assists, four rebounds, and one blocked shot.
Foster added 12 points, six rebounds, six assists, and four steals in a 57-43 win over Towanda.

OWEGO'S McEVOY NAMED GUTHRIE COMMUNITY CREDIT UNION GIRLS "ATHLETE OF THE WEEKMcEvoy averaged 17.5 points, 4 assists, and 3.5 steals in helping the River Hawks to a runner-up finish at the Charlie Sibley Memorial Tournament.
McEvoy led Owego with 19 points, including five 3-pointers, five assists, and three steals in a 65-30 win over Trumansburg in the Sibley Tournament opener.
McEvoy led Owego with 16 points, four steals, and three assists in a 62-55 loss to Elmira in the finals.
