TIOGA COUNTY — Six of the seven events on Tuesday's docket here are home events, highlights by a girls-boys basketball doubleheader at Candor, and home hoop games for the Newark Valley and Owego girls.

BOYS BASKETBALL
Notre Dame at Candor (2-0), 7 p.m.: The Coyotes are coming off a 57-43 win over Towanda Friday, while the Crusaders open the 2024-25 campaign.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Notre Dame (1-1) at Candor (0-1), 5:30 p.m.: The Coyotes are coming off a season-opening, 54-50, setback at Trumansburg Monday, while the Crusaders dropped a 46-33 decision at Athens Monday night.

Cortland (1-0) at Newark Valley (1-1), 5:30 p.m. JV start: The Cardinals are coming off a 52-36 win over Windsor in the consolation game of the Drago Tournament Saturday, while the Purple Tigers topped Central Square, 38-35, last Tuesday.

Chenango Forks (1-1) at Owego (1-1), 5:30 p.m. JV start: The River Hawks are coming off a 62-55 loss to Elmira in the championship game of the Sibley Tournament Saturday, while the Blue Devils dropped a 54-37 decision to Susquehanna Valley in the title tilt of the SV Tip-Off Tourney.
