IAC GIRLS BASKETBALL: S-VE STRUGGLES IN 32-20 LOSS TO EDISON IN SEASON OPENER (2024-12-07)

ELMIRA — S-VE struggled offensively in the middle two quarters, and Thomas A. Edison pulled away in a 32-20 win here Saturday afternoon at the Elmira College Showcase.

The Panthers trailed 8-7 after the first eight minutes, but scored just five points over the next two quarters, and trailed 26-12 entering the final eight minutes.

Kaylee Kastenhuber led S-VE with seven points, including five in the fourth quarter which saw the Panthers outscore Edison, 8-6.

Lauren Gillett added five points for the Panthers.

S-VE returns to action Friday at O-M.
