Hannah Ferguson, a junior on the St. John Fisher's women's basketball team, nearly had a triple-double to help the Cardinals to a win in the championship game of the season-opening Chatham Tournament.
Ferguson, who started and played 35 minutes, made 3 of 5 shots from the field, including a 3-pointer. She had nine points, eight rebounds, including four offensive boards, and a career-high eight assists in a 73-63 win over Chatham Saturday.
On Friday, Ferguson scored three points, grabbed three rebounds, dished out three assists, and had one steal in a 77-64 win over Susquehanna.
St. John Fisher returns to action Tuesday at Penn State Behrend in Erie.
