COLLEGE GOLF: CANDOR GRAD BANKS POSTS THREE TOP-20 FINISHES IN FALL SEASON AT OSWEGO (2024-11-09)

Jacob Banks, a sophomore on Oswego State men's golf team, posted top-20 finishes in all three events he played in this fall, including the Empire 8 Fall Championships.
At the Empire 8 tournament, Banks tied for 19th with a two-day total of 167 and the Lakeshore Yacht and Country Club in Cicero.
Banks shot an 81 on the par-72, 6,506-yard course on Day 1. He carded three birdies on the front nine, but shot a 1-over par 37. He had one birdie on the back nine, coming home with a 44.
On Day 2, Banks carded an 86 (45-41).
Banks worked his way into the lineup at the St. John Fisher Invite on Sept. 15-16. He finished 19th with a two-day total of 164.
He finished 20th at the Oswego Invite Sept. 28-29, shooting a two-day total of 157 on the par-71 course.
For the fall season, Banks shot six rounds and had an 81.8 scoring average.
