Tioga County Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY — Owego opens postseason football play tonight, looking for a win and another shot at the state's top-ranked Class B team Maine-Endwell, while a pair of River Hawk divers are in action at the Section IV Championships.

3-Norwich (6-3) at 2-Owego (7-1), 7 p.m.: The River Hawks dropped a 21-7 decision to Maine-Endwell in the final week of the regular season, while the Purple Tornadoes rolled to a 46-12 win over Chenango Valley.
Owego enters the contest outscoring its opponents by an average of 34.7 to 9.1 points per game, while Norwich has bested its foes by an average of 31.3 to 19.1 points per game.
In their first meeting, Owego won 28-6 in Week 2.
Norwich's other losses came against Horseheads and Maine-Endwell. It did not beat a team with a winning record, and its six wins came against teams with a combined record of 16-37.
Owego's only wins against teams with winning records came against Horseheads and Norwich.
GIRLS SWIMMING & DIVING
Section IV Diving Championships, noon @ Elmira: Owego senior Kaelyn Katchuk is the prohibitive favorite to win the Class B title, while freshman Ava Young is also looking to reach the podium.
