IAC VOLLEYBALL: CANDOR FINISHES OFF REGULAR SEASON WITH SWEEP OF MORAVIA (2024-10-30)
Tioga County Sports ReportMORAVIA— Candor wrapped up the regular season with a sweep of Moravia here Monday in IAC volleyball action.
The Coyotes, now 11-1, won by scores of 25-11, 25-16, and 25-15, and are now tied atop the Small School standings with S-VE.
Phoebe Swartz led Candor with 10 service points, including four aces, 19 setter assists, and three kills, while Emmi Makie had 13 points, six kills, and one block, and Kate Stouffer had eight points (two aces), two kills, and three digs.
Jill Teribury had seven points and four digs in the win, while Hazel Ray added four points, Tracy Reynolds had three points, Nicola Soper registered 10 kills, Ryleigh Bowman recorded five digs, Emmi McCracken had two kills and one block, Malley Heddle had three assists and one block, and Ava Fernando chipped in with two points and one block.
Candor will square off with S-VE Friday in the IAC Small School Championships at Tompkins-Cortland Community College.
