TIOGA COUNTY — SVEC field hockey is on the road in the Section IV, Class C semifinals, while Owego volleyball plays for a STAC title in the marquee events on Tuesday's slate.

The Owego girls swim team is on the road at Greene, and Owego cross-country hosts the Last Chance Invite in the final two regular-season events of the fall.

FIELD HOCKEY
Section IV Playoffs
Class C Semifinals
4-SVEC (8-9) at 1-Whitney Point (14-2), 5 p.m.: The Eagles advance to the semifinals with a 1-0 win over Walton Friday, while the Golden Eagles received a bye into the semifinals.

The two teams played in the regular-season finale on Oct. 16, and Whitney Point earned a 5-0 win.

Whitney Point outscored its opponents, 102-13, this season, and went 14-0 against Section IV foes.

VOLLEYBALL
STAC Championship
Corning (12-2) at Owego (16-0), 6 p.m.: The River Hawks advanced to the finals with a five-set win over Oneonta, while the Hawks beat Windsor in five sets.

Owego won the fifth set, 15-3, and Corning won the fifth set, 15-4.

GIRLS SWIMMING
Owego (6-4) at Greene (0-10), 5:30 p.m.: The River Hawks have been off since a 104-76 win over Johnson City, while the Trojans dropped an 85-41 decision to Susquehanna Valley Tuesday.

CROSS COUNTRY
Owego hosts Last Chance Invite, 4 p.m.
