TIOGA COUNTY — SVEC can clinch a Section IV postseason football berth this season, while Newark Valley and SVEC continue play in the Section IV boys soccer playoffs.

FOOTBALL
SVEC (3-4 overall, 2-1 Div. VI) at Walton (3-4, 1-1), 1:30 p.m.: The Eagles are coming off a 54-6 win over Oxford, while the Warriors dropped a 40-24 decision to division-leading Delhi.

The winner clinches the second playoff spot in Division VI, and a likely date with Tioga in the Class D semifinals.

BOYS SOCCER
Class B Quarterfinals
5-SVEC (10-4) at 4-Sus. Valley (8-5-1), 5 p.m.: The Eagles are coming off a 1-0 loss to Lansing in the IAC Large School Championship game, while the Sabers blanked Waverly, 3-0, in their regular-season finale on Oct. 11.

Class C Quarterfinals
9-Newark Valley (6-6-1) at 1-Trumansburg (8-3), 3:30 p.m.: The Cardinals are coming off a 3-2 win over Newfield in the opening round of the Class C playoffs, while Trumansburg blanked Dryden, 3-0, on Oct. 9.

CROSS COUNTRY
