Tioga County Sports ReportCANDOR — The Candor volleyball team picked up a 25-13, 25-16, 25-19 home win over Groton on Thursday night.
Kate Stouffer had 10 points, two aces, seven kills and two digs and Phoebe Swartz had seven points, an ace, two kills, four digs and 29 assists.
Malley Heidl had a kill, an assist and a dig, while Ava Fernando, Tracy Reynolds and Keanna Fay each had a point.
Ryleigh Bowman had a kill and two digs and Emmi McCracken had two blocks.
Nicola Soper had six points, 11 kills and an assist, while Hazel Ray had 11 points and two digs and Jill Teribury had 12 points and a kill.
Emmi Makie had four points, two aces, 13 kills, three assists, a block and two digs.
Candor won the JV match 25-23, 25-21.
Ashlan Heidl had 10 points, an ace, a kill and six assists for Candor JV and Lizzy Murray had four points, five kills and four assists.
Allison Oakes had six points, three aces and two kills and Montana Vorhis had two kills and an assist.
