SECTION 4 VOLLEYBALL: OWEGO MAKES GOLD BRACKET SEMIS, CANDOR BRONZE FINAL AT HORSEHEADS TOURNEY (24 PHOTOS) (2024-10-19) Tioga County Sports Report HORSEHEADS — Owego reached the gold medal semifinals, while Candor was in the bronze medal final at the Horseheads Volleyball Tournament on Saturday.
Owego was one of eight teams to make the Gold bracket. The number two seed after pool play, Owego opened bracket play with a win over Ithaca, before falling to Baldwinsville in the semifinals.
