OWEGO — Unbeaten Owego is the second seed in the Section IV, Class A boys soccer playoffs, and will open at home Wednesday night, while the Lady River Hawks are the third seed and will open on the road.
BOYS
Despite a win over Maine-Endwell and an unblemished record, Owego (15-0) is the second seed in the upcoming Class B playoffs, and will open at home Wednesday at 7 p.m. against third-seeded Johnson City (2-12) in a semi-final matchup.
The winner will face top-seeded Maine-Endwell (9-4) on Nov. 2 at Union-Endicott High School.
GIRLS
Owego (7-6) is the third seed in the girls bracket, and will travel to second-seeded Chenango Valley (12-0) for a semi-final matchup Tuesday at 6 p.m.
The winner will face the winner of the game between first-seeded Maine-Endwell (9-4) and fourth-seeded Norwich (7-8) on Nov. 2 at Union-Endicott High School.
