NEWARK VALLEY — The Owego girls won the team title as Newark Valley hosted the annual Bob Greene Invitational on Friday night.

The Owego girls won the varsity race with a team score of 53, edging Elk Lake (58). Newark Valley was seventh at 208 and Candor finished 11th at 250.

Jaelyn Chrysler finished third for Owego in 20:25.2 and teammate Stella Palladino was 11th in 22:01.1. Lilly LaFever was 13th in 22:04.9 followed by Abigail McHugh (22:10.9) and Madison McEvoy was 17th in 22:25.2.

Newark Valley’s Brook Illsley was 23rd in 22:55.9 and Candor’s Kristin Baker was 27th in 23:10.8 and Newark Valley’s Olivia Vaughn was 32nd in 23:41.6 followed by Candor’s Emma Haynes in 23:43.1.

Owego’s Sidney Senko was 38th in 24:28.6 and Newark Valley’s Leah Lansing was 50th in 25:31.9.

Candor’s Zoey Lang was 55th in 25:55.8, while Newark Valley’s Malerie Gregrow was 61st in 26:19.1.

Newark Valley’s Abigail Escalante was 67th in 26:36.4, while Owego’s Nora Schuyler was 74th in 27:01.5.

Newark Valley’s Elle Webb was 79th in 27:43.7 and Owego’s Carolyn Schuyler was 82nd in 27:48.4 followed by SVE’s Kaylee-May Davidson in 27:49.2.

Candor’s Ayasha Schweiger was 91st in 28:11.8 followed by teammate Bella Matisco (28:18.8) and SVE’s Lillie Stevens in 28:25.9. Candor’s Calli Marsh was 97th in 28:45.7 and SVE’s Brooke Ryan was 101st in 30:12. SVE’s Ashley Ellison was 103rd in 30:30.5.

Newark VAlley’s Kaitlyn Bohne was 106th in 30:57.3 followed by teammate Charlotte Vaughn (30:59.2) and CAndor’s Emma Fey (31:07.6).

Owego’s Eleanora Palmer was 115th in 33:41.6 and teammate Amelia Sitar was 118th in 34:31.3. Owego’s Piper Cunningham was 124th in 40:51.

For the varsity boys Owego was fourth at 98 points. Ithaca won at 41. Newark Valley was 14th at 375.

Owego’s Javan Belokur was seventh at 17:31.4 and teammate Sullivan O’Donnell was 12th in 17:38.7.

Owego’s Levi Saunders was 17th in 17:59.1 and teammate Magazine Allen was 23rd in 18:13.5.

SVE’s Edward Rixford was 34th in 18:59.1 and Owego’s Deric Singer was 40th in 19:05.1, while teammate Dawson Bell was 43rd in 19:16.5 followed by teammate Nicholas Brown in 19:19.7.

Newark Vallely’s Marcos Escalante was 62nd in 19:57.1 followed by teammate Leland Houston in 20:01.6.

Newark Valley’s Camden King was 74th in 20:46.6 and Candor’s James Kane was 87th in 21:37.6.

SVE’s Zachary Paucke was 93rd in 21:58.4 followed by Candor’s Gage Maxwell in 21:59.3. SVE’s Lincoln Jones was 96th in 22:13.5. Newark Valley’s Rhyley Payne was 107th in 22:58.2.

Newark Valley’s Andrew Lelik was 119th in 24:19.2 followed by SVE’s Jayden Stone (24:42.9). SVE’s Kenric Beach was 122nd in 25:28.1 followed by Reese Illsley of Newark Valley in 26:45.

SVE’s William Horyczun was 128th in 27:46.4 and teammateAnthony Wintermute was 131st in 33:18.1 followed by Newark Valley’s Austin Debolt in 35:09.5.

Owego was fifth for modified boys with a score of 151. Corning won at 17 points. SVE was 10th at 267.

Owego’s Joran Belokur was 22nd in 10:00.4 and teammate Jacob Preston was 28th in 10:20.7.

Candor’s Declan Shaw was 35th in 10:26.5 and Owego’s Gabe Hudak was 41st in 10:34.4. Newark Valley’s Sheldon Houston was 44th in 10:44.2 and teammate Jacob Elliott was 49th in 10:47.3. Caleb Paucke led SVE with a 90th place finish in 11:48.5.

Owego was seventh in the girls’ modified race. With a score of 197. Corning won at 43.

Candor’s Vesper Weisz was 18th in 11:14.3 and Newark Valley’s Nora McCann was 27th in 11:43.5. Owego’s Nola Rosenbarker was 42nd in 12:12.5 and teammate Paige Deprospero was 45th in 12:17.2 followed by Candor’s Bianca Lopez in 12:28.7. Lilli Horyczun was the top SVE runner in 73rd at 13:47.1.

Owego took third in the boys’ JV race with a team score of 43. Ithaca won at 36.

Gavin Heath of Owego was fourth in 19:13 and teammate Luke Saunders was seventh in 19:28.30, while teammate Bryson Castro was ninth in 19:39.10. Owego’s Ethan Ianello was 11th in 19:46.80 followed by teammate Canon Wasielewski in 19:49.80.

Owego’s Everett Trinato-Snow was 28th in 20:57.80 followed by Hunter Pitcher in 21:03.10. Matthew Wood was 47th for Owego in 21:53.40.
