STAC BOYS GOLF: SETON'S DEPTH SINKS OWEGO, DESPITE SNYDER'S 41 (2024-10-09)

OWEGO — Seton Catholic had all five golfers shoot 43 or better in a 204-236 win over Owego here Tuesday afternoon in STAC boys golf action at The Golf Club at Owego.

Brian Dempsey earned low-medal honors for the Saints with a 39, and Chad Haykl shot a 40.

Duke Snyder was low for the River Hawks with a 41, while Jacob Bensley shot a 46, and Ryan Denton carded a 48.

Mason Grippen shot a 49 for Owego, while Hunter Woods added a 52, and Wyatt Prentiss tacked on a non-scoring round of 56.

Owego closes out the season Tuesday at the Section IV Championships at Mark Twain Golf Course.
