OWEGO — Owego got off to a fast start, and cruised to a sweep of Chenango Forks here Tuesday night in STAC Central Division volleyball action.

The River Hawks, now 11-0, won by scores of 25-15, 25-10, and 25-21.

Lexi Herceg led Owego with 12 setter assists, while Maggie Hamed had seven kills, and three digs, Alyssa Morales had three service aces, and three digs, and Michaela Terry and Ellie McLaren registered five kills apiece.

Shannon Maslin recorded four digs in the win, while Sofia Silvanic and Bella Miller added three aces apiece, and Logan Georgia chipped in with two blocks.

Owego returns to action Thursday at Oneonta.
