STAC GIRLS' SWIMMING & DIVING: KATCHUK SETS OWEGO POOL RECORD IN DIVING AS OWEGO SPLITS TRI-MEET (11 PHOTOS) (2024-10-08)

OWEGO — Kaelyn Katchuk broke the pool record in diving as the Owego girls’ swimming and diving team split with Vestal and Susquehanna Valley on Saturday.

Owego beat Susquehanna Valley 77-22 and fell to Vestal 60-42. Vestal beat Susquehanna Valley 80-15.

Katchuk broke the Owego Free Academy pool record with a score of 303.15 to win the diving. Teammate Ayla Young was second at 257.20.

Olivia Schrader was second in the 200 free in 2:25.02 and Sophia Lee was second in the 200 IM in 2:29.09.

Ava Murphy won the 50 free in 27.72.

Elizabeth Williams was second in the 100 fly in 1:24.80 and Sawyer Pratt was second in the 100 free in 1:08.38.

Lee was second in the 500 free in 6:36.08 followed by teammate Cecilia Clair in 7:06.61.

Williams was third in the 100 back in 1:20.13.
