STAC VOLLEYBALL: OWEGO RALLIES TO BEAT CHENANGO VALLEY, 3-1 (2024-10-03)

BINGHAMTON — Owego shook off a first-set loss, and rallied for a 3-1 win over Chenango Valley here Thursday night in STAC volleyball action.

After a 27-25 setback in the first set, the River Hawks won the next three sets by scores of 25-19, 25-22, and 25-11.

Maggie Hamed led Owego with 11 kills and 13 digs, while Logan Georgia registered 13 kills and two blocks and Lexi Herceg doled out 34 setter assists, and had six service aces.

Shannon Maslin and Kayla Newman each recorded eight digs in the win.

Owego, now 9-0, returns to action Monday at Corning.
