WATKINS GLEN — State-ranked Watkins Glen controlled the action throughout the game on its way to a 5-0 win over SVEC here Thursday afternoon in IAC girls soccer action.

Ava Kelly and Olivia King scored two goals apiece, while Skye Honrath had one goal and one assist. Olivia VanSkiver had two assists for the Lady Hawks.

Watkins Glen, ranked 8th in the state in Class B, had a 34-1 advantage in shots-on-goal, and a 4-1 edge in corner kicks.

Nicole Poli recorded 19 saves in net for the Eagles.

SVEC returns to action Tuesday at Union Springs.
