AFTON — The Owego field hockey team went on the road and were edged by Afton/Harpursville 3-0 this week.

Makenna Schultz scored for Afton/Harpursville off a Lilly Bagg assist at 13:03 of the opening quarter and at 1:15 of the opening quarter Bagg and and Schultz assisted on a Gracie Bagg goal.

Lilly Bagg scored in the third quarter at 13:13 to cap the scoring.

Afton/Harpursville had 18 shots and seven penalty corners and Emilie Hopkins had four saves in goal.

Lillie Kneller and Leonard combined for 14 saves for Owego, who had three shots and three penalty corners.
