NEWARK VALLEY — Barrett Tranucco netted a hat trick to lead Marathon to a 5-0 win over Newark Valley here Thursday afternoon in IAC boys soccer crossover action.

Kooper Cornell scored one goal and one assist, and Camden Kashuba scored once for the Olympians.

Marathon had a 21-9 advantage in shots-on-goal, and 10-1 edge in corner kicks.

James Wales recorded 12 saves in net for the Cardinals.

Newark Valley, now 2-4-1, returns to action Wednesday at Tioga.
