IAC VOLLEYBALL: LANSING SWEEPS PAST NEWARK VALLEY (2024-09-18)

LANSING — Lansing, the reigning New York State Class B champion, started fast on its way to a sweep of Newark Valley here Wednesday night in IAC Large School volleyball action.

The Bobcats won by scores of 25-14, 25-9, and 25-19.

Rosie Wandell led Newark Valley with three service aces, four setter assists, and four digs, while Anaya Aylesworth had two aces, and five digs, and Maddy Noble recorded 14 digs.

Laura Ludwig had four kills and two digs for the Cardinals, while Adriana Rich had three digs, and one block, Jenna Vosburg added three digs, and Haven Aylesworth chipped in with one block.

Newark Valley, now 1-2, travels to Whitney Point Friday.
