TIOGA COUNTY — Six of Wednesday’s eight events in our coverage are are at home with area sports fans having the option of watching soccer, volleyball, field hockey, boys golf, or tennis.

BOYS SOCCER
Owego (3-0) at Waverly (1-4), 7 p.m.: The Wolverines are coming off a 10-0 loss at Seton Catholic Monday, while the River Hawks topped Chenango Valley, 3-1.

GIRLS SOCCER
SVEC (2-1) at Notre Dame, 6 p.m.: The Eagles are coming off a 5-1 loss to unbeaten Watkins Glen Friday, while the Crusaders blanked Edison, 10-0.

Notre Dame lost, 2-1, in double-overtime to Watkins Glen last Wednesday.

Newfield (1-2) at Newark Valley (2-0), 5:15 p.m.: The Cardinals are coming off a 7-0 win over Moravia Saturday, while the Trojans dropped a 3-0 decision to Odessa-Montour.

VOLLEYBALL
O-M (0-3) at SVE (3-0), 5 p.m. JV start: The Panthers are coming off a 3-1 win over Union Springs, while the Grizzlies dropped a 3-1 decision to non-league foe Campbell-Savona.

Newark Valley (1-1) at Lansing (2-1), 5 p.m. JV start: The Cardinals are coming off a sweep of Watkins Glen, while the Bobcats are coming off a sweep of Dryden.

FIELD HOCKEY
Windsor (5-1) at Owego (2-3), 6:45 p.m.: The River Hawks are coming off a 2-1 loss at Vestal Monday, while the Black Knights blanked Walton, 7-0.

BOYS GOLF
Chenango Forks (1-1) at Owego (2-1), 4 p.m.: The River Hawks are coming off a 232-256 win over Waverly Thursday at The Golf Club at Owego, while the Blue Devils topped Waverly, 237-250, Tuesday at Shepard Hills Country Club.

TENNIS
Seton Catholic (3-1) at Owego (0-5), 5 p.m.: The River Hawks are coming off a 5-1 loss to Windsor Tuesday, while the Saints topped Chenango Valley, 5-2, Thursday.
