TIOGA COUNTY — Owego volleyball, and the Owego and Newark Valley boys soccer teams host the only events in our Tioga County coverage area Monday, which is the start of an extremely busy week.

VOLLEYBALL
Newfield (0-1) at Candor (2-0), 5 p.m. JV start: The Coyotes are coming off a sweep of O-M Thursday, while the Trojans were swept by S-VE Tuesday.

S-VE (2-0) at Union Springs (1-1), 5 p.m. JV start: The Panthers are coming off a sweep of Groton Thursday, while the Wolves are coming off a win over Moravia.

BOYS SOCCER
Groton at Newark Valley (1-0-1), 4:30 p.m.: The Cardinals are coming off a 1-1 tie with Tioga Friday.

Chenango Valley (2-2) at Owego (2-0), 7 p.m.: The River Hawks have been off since a 2-0 win at Elmira Notre Dame on Sept. 7, while the Warriors dropped a 2-1 decision to Seton Catholic Friday.

FIELD HOCKEY
Owego (2-1) at Vestal (4-1), 7 p.m.: The River Hawks are coming off a 4-0 win over Sidney Tuesday, while the Golden Bears topped South Glens Falls, 4-3, Saturday.

TENNIS
Owego (0-2) at Chenango Valley (1-2), 5 p.m.: The River Hawks are coming off a 7-0 loss to Susquehanna Valley Wednesday, while the Warriors dropped a 5-2 decision to Seton Catholic Friday.

JV FOOTBALL
Oneonta at Newark Valley, 5 p.m.
