STAC GIRLS' SOCCER: OWEGO GETS TWO GOALS FROM DALTON AS THEY OPEN SEASON WITH WIN (2024-09-06)

SUSQUEHANNA VALLEY — The Owego girls got a pair of goals from Ashlyn Dalton as they kicked off the season with a 2-1 win over Susquehanna Valley.

Owego took a first-half lead off a Dalton goal. Dalton scored at 20:45 of the first half off an assist by Kira Coppage.

Ella Karium of Susquehanna Valley scored with 14:45 left in the game to tie things up, before Dalton scored the game winner.

Dalton scored an unassisted goal with 5:44 left to win things for the River Hawks.

Owego had eight shots in the game and Olivia Dodge finished with four saves in goal.

Susquehanna Valley had five shots and Addison Macarak had six saves in net.
