STAC GIRLS' SWIMMING & DIVING: OWEGO WINS EVERY EVENT ON WAY TO SEASON-OPENING VICTORY (2024-09-06)

WINDSOR — Owego won every event as the River Hawks girls’ swimming and diving team opened the year with a 109-57 win at Windsor.

Sophia Lee, Olivia Schrader, Cecilia Clair and Ava Murphy won the 200 medley relay in 2:04.65 and in the 200 free Lee won in 2:23.98 with Kaiah Malmstrom third in 2:45.75.

In the 200 IM Ava Murphy got the win in 2:42.05 and in the 50 free Cecilia Clair won in 29.29 with Riley Wold third in 31.56.

Kaelyn Katchuk won the diving at 237.75 followed by teammate Ayla Young at 219.30 and in the 100 fly Elizabeth Williams won in 1:22.54 with Sawyer Pratt third in 1:32.50.

In the 100 free Schrader picked up the win in 1:04.25.

Murphy won the 500 free in 6:14.75 and in the 200 free relay Pratt, Wald, Williams and Murphy won in 2:02.61.

Clair won the 100 back in 1:19.03 followed by Malmstrom in 1:23.43 and Lee won the 100 breaststroke in 1:22.97.

Schrader, Williams, Lee and Clair won the 400 free relay in 4:33.86.
