OWEGO — Owego Middaugh dropped two games in 10C pool play in the Owego Little League 10U Tournament over the weekend.
Lansing Davenport 13, Owego 3
Owego scored its runs in the third inning after two batters were hit by pitches and another drew a base on balls.
Luke Turshman, Grayden Masse and Logan Griffin accounted for the scoring.
Lansing led 2-0 after an inning, but scored five in the second and five in the third to pull away.
Vestal Kochis 9, Owego 6
Owego kept the game relatively close, but came up just short, answering Vestal’s four-run third and five-run fifth with a trio of runs in each.
Owego finished pool play 0-3 and faces M-E Kennedy at 8 p.m. tonight in bracket play on Hyde Park Field 4.
