HS FOOTBALL: NEWARK VALLEY COMPETES IN CORTLAND 7v7 TOURNAMENT (2024-07-13) Tioga County Sports Report
CORTLAND — Newark Valley competed in the New York State High School Football Coaches Association Football Classic at SUNY Cortland Saturday.
The Cardinals went 0-4 in pool play in the 7-vs-7 event, facing Morrisville-Eaton from Section III, Section IV for Groton, Sullivan West from Section IX and Cobleskill-Richmondville from Section II.
The Small School division was comprised of 34 teams with the top 16 teams advancing to bracket play. Clymer-Sherman-Panama defeated Owego, 28-24, in the championship game to claim the title.
