YOUTH SOFTBALL: CANDOR RALLIES, FALLS IN EXTRA INNINGS IN ELIMINATION GAME (2024-06-28) Tioga County Sports Report
TIOGA CENTER — Candor rallied from a seven-run deficit before falling to Valley ASA, 14-13, in extra innings at the Tioga County 12U Softball Tournament Friday.
Valley ASA scored five runs in the bottom of the first and led 10-2 after two innings.
Candor trimmed the margin down to 10-5, but trailed 12-5 heading into the sixth inning.
An eight-run uprising gave Candor a 13-12 edge in the top of the sixth, but ASA tied the game in the bottom of the inning and added the game-winner in the seventh.
