ENDWELL — The Owego - Card all-stars rode superior pitching and defense to a 5-1 victory over Maine-Endwell in District 7 10U softball action Tuesday.

Lydia Chase recorded 16 strikeouts and was backed up by a defense which played errorless ball.

Owego scored its initial run in the top of the first inning following a Harper Kretzmer walk and back-to-back singles by Megan Card and Chase.
